A pale wash of roses drying in my art studio.
I have been painting the palest of white roses on French linen papier. These are so faint and very difficult to capture in photograph. The natural lighting in the studio is also dim from days of rain with grey skies. The linen papier is so lovely made in France since 1557. Painting these roses has given my soul a calm that awakens me to become more quiet, unseen, and hidden in the petals.
